Set up your business and team

Company details

1. In my.conciar.com, go to Settings → Organization details.
2. Check and complete:
   • Company Information: company name, Chamber of Commerce number and tax number.
   • Contact Information: email addresses, phone number and website.
   • Business Configuration: time zone, currency, language, and the brand colour used in emails to customers.
   • Company Description: a short description per language.
   • Branding: your logo (PNG or JPG, up to 4 MB), which also prints on receipts. You can add a separate black-and-white logo for receipts.
   • Headquarters Address.
3. Save.

Only an admin can change these details.

Opening hours aren't on this page. You set them per business type, for example in Settings → Restaurant, and per sales channel on its Hours tab.

Add team members

Conciar doesn't send invitations. You create the account for each team member yourself.

1. Go to Settings → Team members and click Create Team Member.
2. Choose a Role: Admin, Manager or Employee.
3. Fill in their name, Email Address and a Password.
4. Enter a 4-digit Security PIN. They use it to unlock the Conciar app on a shared device.
5. Optionally enter their hourly rate and contract hours per week, which staff planning uses.
6. Save.

The new team member gets an email to verify their address. Tell them their password; they can sign in to the dashboard once they've verified.

Roles

Role	Can do
Employee	Sell at the till, view data, and open or close a cash shift.
Manager	Everything an employee can, plus refunds and voids, managing the team, payment, till and printing settings, card terminals, API keys and approving discounts.
Admin	Everything a manager can, plus the company details and making someone else an admin.

Nobody can give a role higher than their own, and a business always keeps at least one admin.

Sales channels

A sales channel is a place you sell through: a location, a shop, or your own website or app. Each one has its own currency, language, payment methods, opening hours and pickup address. Restaurant and store businesses have sales channels.

1. Go to Settings → Sales Channels and add a channel.
2. Give it a name, and choose its currency and language.
3. Tick Test channel if you only want to use it for testing. You can't change this later.
4. Open the channel's tabs to set its opening hours (Hours), pickup details (Pickup) and checkout options (Checkout).

Each live sales channel counts as one location on your plan. Test channels don't count.

Common problems

I can't save the company details. Only an admin can. Ask an admin, or have them change your role.

A new team member can't sign in to the dashboard. They haven't verified their email address yet. Ask them to click the link in the email from Conciar.

I don't see Sales Channels in Settings. Sales channels are only there for restaurant and store businesses.
