Collect enquiries with lead forms
A lead form is a contact form you put on your own website. Each time a visitor fills it in, you get an email and the enquiry appears under Leads.
Create a lead form
- In my.conciar.com, go to Professional → Lead Forms and click New Form.
- Under Translations, fill in the Form Title, Form Description and Submit Button Text.
- Under Form Fields, click Add Field for each question. For each field, set:
- Label: the question the visitor sees.
- Field Type: see the table below.
- Placeholder: example text shown in the empty field. Optional.
- Required: tick it if the visitor must fill it in.
- Under Form Appearance, pick a Primary Color for the button. If you want visitors to go to a page of your own after sending the form, enter it under Redirect URL after submit. Leave it empty to show a thank-you message.
- Click Create Form.
Add the field for the visitor's name first. Fields appear in the order you add them, and the Leads list uses the first field as the lead's name.
| Field type | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Text | A short answer, such as a name. |
| An email address. | |
| Phone | A phone number. |
| Textarea | A longer message. |
| Number | A number, such as a budget. |
| Date | A date, such as a preferred start date. |
| Select Dropdown | One choice from a list. |
| Radio Group | One choice, with all options visible. |
| Checkbox | One or more choices. |
For Select Dropdown, Radio Group and Checkbox, click Add Option for each choice.
Translate the form
Your form can have a title, description, button text and field labels in each of your languages. Visitors see it in their browser's language.
- Open the form with Edit.
- Under Translations, pick a language and fill in the texts for that language. Field labels and placeholders follow the language you picked.
- To fill in the other languages for you, click Auto-translate. Check the result before you save.
- Click Save Changes.
Put the form on your website
- In Professional → Lead Forms, click Embed on the form.
- Click Copy Code.
- Paste the code into your website's HTML, where you want the form to appear.
The form loads in its own frame on your page.
Get an email for each enquiry
Every team member of your organisation gets an email for each new enquiry, with the subject "New Lead Form Submission" and all the answers. The email is in English.
Measure enquiries in Google Analytics
- Open the form with Edit.
- Under Google Analytics, switch on Enable GA Tracking.
- Enter your Measurement ID (it starts with
G-) and the Conversion Event Name you want to see in Google Analytics. - Click Save Changes.
Each time a visitor sends the form, that event is sent to Google Analytics.
Delete a form
Click the bin icon next to the form and confirm. You need the admin or manager role.
Leads are deleted too
Deleting a form also deletes all leads that came in through it.
Common problems
The form doesn't show on my website. Check that you pasted the whole code, both lines, and that your website builder allows HTML code on that page.
Visitors see an empty title or labels. The form has no texts in their language. Fill in the texts for each language under Translations, or use Auto-translate.
