Go live

Conciar has no single "go live" switch. You're live once your payments are set to live and your guests can reach you. Use this page as a checklist.

1. Work through the dashboard checklist

The Getting started list on the dashboard home page shows what's still missing for your business type, such as creating a menu, designing your floor plan or adding your first product. The list disappears after your first order, booking or lead.

2. Test with test payments

Before taking real money, run a few orders and bookings with test payments:

  • Mollie: use your test_ API key.
  • Buckaroo: set each payment method's Status to Test.

To keep test orders apart from real ones, use a Test channel in Settings → Sales Channels. See Set up your business and team.

Then check:

  • an order reaches the till, the kitchen screen and the right printers;
  • a test payment shows as paid on the order;
  • your staff can unlock the till with their PIN.

3. Switch payments to live

  • Mollie: replace the test_ key with your live_ key and click Save Payment Settings.
  • Buckaroo: set each payment method's Status to Live and click Save Payment Settings. Set card terminals to Live too.

From now on, customers are charged for real. See Connect payments.

4. Open your booking page (restaurants)

Your booking page is at r.conciar.com/your-name. Conciar creates the name from your business name. Guests can book once all three of these are true:

  • Accept Reservations is switched on in Settings → Restaurant;
  • you have at least one table with seats on a floor plan;
  • your plan includes the restaurant business type.

If something is missing, the booking page card in Settings → Restaurant tells you what.

You can change the name under Your booking link on the Booking page card in Settings → Restaurant, once every 14 days. The old address keeps sending guests to the new one. Names can be 3 to 30 characters: letters a–z, numbers, dots and underscores.

Share the link on your website and social media, and add it to your Google Business Profile; the booking page card shows how. To put the booking form inside your own website, copy the code under Embed Code for Your Website in Settings → Restaurant.

5. Selling online

Conciar doesn't host a webshop for you. To sell through your own website or customer app, connect it to Conciar with a sales channel and an API key. Your developer can start at Build on Conciar.

Common problems

Guests see that bookings aren't available. Check the three conditions under Open your booking page.
