Change your business details

Your business details appear on receipts, invoices and emails to your customers. If you're setting up for the first time, start with Set up your business and team.

Update your company details

You need the admin role.

1. In my.conciar.com, go to Settings → Organization details.
2. Change what you need under Company Information, Contact Information, Business Configuration and Headquarters Address.
3. Click Save Organization Settings.

Field	Where it's used
Default Timezone	The times on orders, bookings and reports.
Default Currency	The currency your prices are in. Sales channels can have their own currency (see Exchange rates).
Default Language	Your business's main language.
Brand Colour	The accent colour in emails to your customers, such as order confirmations and receipts.

Describe your business

Under Company Description you write a short text about your business per language. Conciar's AI features use it to understand what you do.

1. Pick a language on the left and type the description.
2. To fill the other languages, click Auto Translate. Choose the source language, pick the languages under Translate into, and click Translate. Tick Override existing content to also replace descriptions you already wrote.
3. Check the translations and click Save Organization Settings.

A green dot next to a language means it has a description.

Change your logo

Logos are saved straight away. You don't need to click Save Organization Settings.

1. Go to Settings → Organization details and find Logo & Brand Assets.
2. Click Upload New Logo and choose a PNG or JPG of up to 4 MB.
3. Optional: click Upload Receipt Logo to add a black-and-white version for printed receipts and tickets.

If you don't add a receipt logo, receipts use your company logo. A high-contrast black logo prints best. Click Remove to delete a logo.

Whether a printer prints the logo at all is a setting per printer. See Printers and receipts.

Exchange rates

If a sales channel uses a different currency than your business, Conciar converts your prices for it. The till and the self-order kiosk then show and charge prices in that channel's currency.

You need the admin or manager role.

1. Go to Settings → Organization details and scroll to Exchange Rates.
2. Under Where rates come from, choose:
   • Live rates: fetched online every few hours. Currencies fixed to the US dollar use their fixed rate.
   • My own rates: the rates you post at your till. For each currency, click Add a currency and enter what 1 unit is worth in your own currency. A currency you leave out uses the live rate.
3. Under Round converted prices, choose a rounding step, or Don't round. With rounding to 0.05, a converted price of 25.41 becomes 25.40.
4. Click Save Exchange Rates.

The exchange rates have their own save button. Save Organization Settings doesn't save them.

You set a sales channel's currency in Settings → Sales Channels.

Common problems

I can't save my company details. Only an admin can. Ask an admin to change them, or to give you the admin role.

My logo doesn't upload. Use a PNG or JPG of up to 4 MB. SVG files aren't accepted.

The logo doesn't print on receipts. Switch on Print logo on top for that printer. See Printers and receipts.

My new exchange rates aren't used. Check that you clicked Save Exchange Rates, and that My own rates is selected.
